No, not the “Tiny Boxes” song…different Weeds altogether! This morning I spent an hour clearing weeds from around the Messed Up Ministries Building. The building is still in a state of construction/renovation so we are not in it very often. As such, the weed situation has become a bit “tenuous”. In fact, I got a call from the City asking me to do something about it. After an hour of pulling up tumble weeds I then called a friend in recovery who brought his trailer and helped me load up all of the weeds so that he could haul them to the dump. Forever Family to the rescue, once again!

Recovery requires maintenance. If I neglect my daily inventories and Step 10 I might find a huge collection of junk that needs attention. It’s way better to clean as I go in life and recovery. If I stay on top of things, the weeds won’t get a chance to…
