It’s Christmas time again. As I write, we are sitting on a rainy Christmas Eve Eve (the day before the day before Christmas for those of you keeping score at home). I’m wishing everyone a “Joseph Christmas” (because Mary has been getting top billing for a couple of millennia)! I’m thinking about tradition and such things this morning. I’ll be seeing lots of friends and family over the next couple of days. I’ll be serving at church for multiple services. I’ll be having a “party” of sorts at the prison. It should be lots of fun. But there will also be a lot of people missing from all of those gatherings. Holiday blues are real. As you participate in all sorts of merriment, watch out for people who don’t seem to have quite as big of a smile. Find the ones who are hurting. Help a friend, or even a stranger, to…
–Rise Up!!
