Last week my wife and I were sitting at Starbucks having a cup of coffee. There is nothing unusual about that, and neither of us were carrying any agenda other than to spend time with each other. While we were there, she ran into an old acquaintance. She had been friends with this person at work a decade ago, but a falling out had occurred and the other person moved to a different city. When they saw each other the memories of friendship won out and they sat and reminisced for quite some time. They’ve now seen each other a couple of times since that meeting.
