This past week I was working with one of my groups in the prison. We are about to start working on our inventories which can always be a daunting proposition. One of the guys said something that really caught my attention. He said he was tired of having his past be his future. He wanted to make a change in his life and that meant that he needed to make a change in himself. Romans 12:2 speaks of the renewing of our minds. That was the only thing that could change how I behaved; I needed to have Christ renew my mind. If you are struggling with something, if you are struggling with anything, ask God to change your mind.
