I have said the words “I’m tired of fighting.” I realize that those words are not true. God continues to give me strength and to lift my weary head. With so many days stacked up in the past it feels overwhelming at times…
But God…
I was preparing to lead worship on Friday night. Our band was all out for the night so we were singing with worship videos karaoke style. The first song was “The Way”. It begins with no music and my wife was worried about how we would find our note. I assured her that we would be ok. “I’ve got this” I told her. I didn’t have it. I came in on a completely wrong key. It was a mess, but we just laughed at ourselves and started over. It wound up great and we all had smiles on our faces.
Im not tired of fighting, I’m just tired from fighting. God will give me power and I will continue to
–Rise Up!!

This was one of the most unique worship experiences I’ve ever had. For me I always want to present my best self, but seeing God work in the imperfection was far greater than anything I could have done. Romans 8:28.. “we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.” Seeing and experiencing it first hand, and the fact that God still showed up and received ALL the glory in the end is what it’s all about. He always turns our messes into a message. Be encouraged MM.
