In the past week I’ve had two major records set by my two favorite sports teams. Anze Kopitar became the all time points leader for the LA Kings hockey team and Max Dowman became the youngest player to score a goal for Arsenal in their 140 year history. It took Anze years to accumulate all those points. He’s been playing for longer than Max has been alive. The record he broke was 45 years old. Max just turned 16 on New Year’s Eve, but it still took a lot of time training to achieve such a feat.
In our recovery we never know when things will happen, but none of it is an accident. It is because we put in the work. Whether you’re a grizzled veteran or a brand new baby in recovery the things you accomplish are worth celebrating. We put in the work and we celebrate the victories. Together. It’s those victories that help us all to…
–Rise Up!!
