In John we read that Jesus used some ordinary, plain dirt mixed with spit (yuck) in order to heal a blind man. I’m guessing that all of us who hear or read this section are not enthused to get spit on for healing. Yet Jesus took things that were readily available to everyone in attendance of this miracle and used them to heal the man’s blindness. If he can do that kind of miracle with just ordinary objects, what more will he do with someone as wonderful as you? You are His most favorite person on the planet. Yes, you!
