When I was a partner at Starbucks I begged my superiors for a Clover machine. They were a fantastic way to make a single cup of coffee. I showed how my store had the numbers to support it and always got a “maybe” back from everyone above me in the company.

Then today I walked into my local SBux and saw a fancy new Clover machine on the counter! I was over the moon. Now I can get my dark roast all day long without asking and waiting for a pour over. And the coffee it makes is exquisite!

I first became acquainted with this machine about 12 years ago. I have been dreaming of the day that it would happen, and now here it is. I’m taking sips between sentences as I write this. #Wonderful.

Sometimes we have to put in a lot of time to get to where we want to be, but like this cup of coffee as it goes to my lips, I’m gonna do the hard yards and…
