I went to a Missions Dinner at my local church this weekend. As a leader of prison ministry, they help support us so we were invited to attend. There were 8 different ministries represented that night and each of us were seated at tables among the crowd so that we could tell our ministry story.

At the table where we were seated we only knew one lady, so there were lots of opportunities for the standard get to know you type of chit chat. Eventually we got to the part where we told them our vision for ministry. (That’s the part it love.)

After listening to what we do and what we hope to do in the future a man sitting across from me said that he wanted to help. It turns out that he is a construction project manager and we happen to have a building that needs a lot of work!

God puts people together for a reason. I really do believe that. I went to talk up my ministry this weekend and would up getting an unexpected offer for help. I suppose I need to be less doubtful about God. You never know who will stumble into your life so that you can…
