Reschedule

Those of you who know your MoM well know that I am a big fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Last week, beyond even my belief, we were able to crawl from the bottom of the pile of playoff hopefuls, and find ourselves playing in the first round of the NFL playoff weekend.

I am a believer. Right now I am wearing my Ted Lasso “Believe” socks and I didn’t even plan it. I find hope in the ashes of life. I mean, this blog alone should show that I have a positive outlook in most instances. But I didn’t even plan on watching the game last week because I thought it was just too much of a long shot. But we made it landing a game on Sunday morning.

So how did we do, you ask? Well, that’s the funny thing. After beating the odds to make the playoffs, we didn’t play. A major snow storm in Buffalo buried the city and stadium with snow and it was deemed unsafe to play the game. So we will play tonight instead. Is it what we planned? Nope. But three weeks ago I imagine there were plenty of team members who planned on playing golf this week! After a brief hiccup and reschedule things will happen tonight and perhaps we keep our odds defying magic going.

Recovery often defies the odds. It often requires some rescheduling. When it does, tighten your belt and…

–Rise Up!!
