With all due respect to Jimmy Buffett, I’m sitting at Starbucks on a Monday morning trying to come up with a blog topic. What’s new, right? Well, for one thing, I’m looking out the window of this Starbucks and seeing palm trees and the Pacific Ocean. Not exactly the parking lot in the middle of the Mojave Desert view that I have grown accustomed to. I have no great plans for the day, other than hanging out, hanging loose, and taking things as they come.

I had a conversation with my son-in-law this morning and he said “I don’t live in the future, I live in the now!” He was being funny, but he has a point.
