I’ve written recently about my one gallon water bottle. Since my daughter gave it to me I’ve been diligent in drinking that gallon every single day! Sometimes I finish a few minutes before midnight, Sometimes it’s earlier, but every day, I get it finished. Yesterday marked Day 46. That makes one day for each President of the United States. I know that might seem silly to some of you, but what it is is a metric for progress. I can measure my work by making the next tally mark. It’s a lot like taking chips and coins in recovery. It doesn’t do anything, but it reminds me about what I have done. So now I’ve tipped a gallon for every US President. The next goal is to hit 55, which would represent a 55 gallon drum. I figure if it’s big enough to hide a body in, that’s a pretty good target. For now I’ll keep drinking it down in order to…
